SHARIFA MURDOCK, PRESIDENT

Sharifa Murdock is a Caribbean-American fashion, business, and lifestyle expert. She currently serves as Chief Impact Officer at Kith, where she spearheads the brand’s social and community impact initiatives, and oversees the company's in-house non-profit, The Kinnect Foundation. Prior to her role at Kith, Murdock worked her way through the trade show circuit. Together with her mentor-turned-business partner, fashion mogul Sam Ben-Avraham, she co-founded premier fashion industry events Liberty Fairs and PROJECT, earning her the distinction of being the first Black woman to own a fashion trade show. Her previous philanthropic work includes The Brooklyn Intern, which was designed to provide opportunities within the fashion industry to young creatives, as well as a board position with the Black In Fashion Council. She also serves as Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ENVSN, which champions the professional and personal development of tomorrow's leaders through access to robust experiences and interactive networks.

LAURA STYLEZ, DIRECTOR

Laura Stylez is a powerhouse of a polymath who has built her multifaceted career on a foundation rooted in her love for radio and media. With over fifteen years of experience as a dynamic on-air host, prominent media personality, event producer, talent curator, cultural tastemaker and community leader, Laura finds she thrives the most when her work leads her to the intersection of art and advocacy.

A first-generation Guatemalan, Los Angeles native and New York transplant, Laura has established herself as a cornerstone member of WQHT Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning alongside Ebro Darden and Peter Rosenberg as a co-host and producer, where she has been on-air since 2013. Laura has since gone on to expand her portfolio to include becoming the voice of Sirius XM’s Caliente and The Heat channels, joining the afternoon team at Portland’s WE96.3 PDX, guest co-hosting The Beat with Ari Melber on MSNBC amd co founder of EnvsnFest

 In addition to her time on-air, Laura has also developed a portfolio of voiceover work, taking on projects that span from commercials, cartoons and video games, including Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories (2006) and Grand Theft Auto V (2013). She has also been the face of campaigns for Hennessy, Xbox 360, Pepsi, Dunkin Donuts, G-Shock, the NBA and other renowned brands. Whether she is honing her commentary to appeal to a local or nationwide audience or using her platform to raise money and awareness of charity events, Laura’s charismatic nature and ability to light up every room and digital space she enters has allowed her to cultivate an organic following and dedicate her platform to lifting up and empowering others to pursue their passions.
